High-Pressure Pesticide & Herbicide Spraying

Overview

Effective pesticide and herbicide application in Indian agriculture requires consistent spray pressure and droplet size across the entire field — whether spraying orchards in Nashik, cotton fields in Vidarbha, or sugarcane in Kolhapur. Inconsistent pressure produces variable droplet size: too large and chemical runs off without absorption; too fine and drift carries it away from the target crop. Either way, the chemical is wasted and pests survive.

SEW's Vanguard Series triplex plunger pump delivers sustained pressure at stable flow — 20–100 bar, 40–200 LPM — to run multi-nozzle spray booms, orchard air-blast sprayers, and high-pressure knapsack filling systems with consistent output from the first nozzle to the last.

How It Works

Chemical solution is mixed in a PE agitation tank on the spray unit. The triplex pump draws from the tank through a suction strainer and delivers high-pressure solution to the spray boom or nozzle manifold. A pressure regulator maintains set pressure as nozzles open and close. On tractor-mounted boom sprayers, pump speed is driven by PTO shaft or hydraulic motor matched to tractor speed.

Bare Unit Use

Agricultural equipment manufacturers, sprayer fabricators, and farm equipment dealers in Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh order the bare triplex pump for new sprayer builds or to replace worn pump units on existing tractor-mounted boom sprayers and orchard air-blast units. PTO-drive or direct motor-drive configurations available. Flow: 40–200 LPM, pressure: 20–100 bar.

Skid Package Use

SEW supplies complete high-pressure spray pump skids for stationary orchard spraying, nursery fogging, and municipal vector control applications: PE agitation tank, triplex pump, motor or PTO drive, pressure regulator, suction strainer, and nozzle manifold connections. Used in: mango and grape orchards (Nashik/Konkan), sugarcane pest control (Kolhapur/Solapur), and municipal vector spraying (MCGM contracts, Nashik Municipal Corporation).

Why SEW

Stable pressure across multi-nozzle booms — triplex three-cylinder design eliminates pressure pulsation. Consistent droplet size from every nozzle across the boom width.

20–100 bar, 40–200 LPM — covers orchard spraying, boom spraying, and high-volume municipal vector control applications.

PTO and motor drive options — integrates with tractor PTO or standalone electric motor. Compatible with standard Indian tractor PTO configurations (540/1000 RPM).

Maharashtra base, Nashik — located in India's largest grape and onion belt. Direct access to agri-equipment dealer network for fast parts and service.
