Textile Dyeing & Chemical Metering
Overview
Wet-processing — dyeing, bleaching, mercerizing — runs on precise, repeatable chemical dosing: dye liquor, caustic, peroxide and auxiliary chemicals metered into the process bath at a fixed ratio, batch after batch. A centrifugal pump's output drifts as bath level and back-pressure change through a cycle; a triplex plunger pump doesn't — it delivers the same volume per stroke regardless, holding dosing accuracy within about ±2%.
Coimbatore and Gujarat's textile belt also run these pumps for high-pressure jetting and CIP between batches, so the same platform often covers dosing, jetting and cleaning duty across one mill.
How It Works
Three plungers on a forged crankshaft meter chemical or dye liquor through a suction and discharge valve each stroke. Ceramic-coated plungers and AISI 316 or Hastelloy B/C wetted parts, selected by chemical class, resist the caustic, acidic and oxidising chemicals used across dyeing and bleaching stages without seal degradation.
Bare Unit Use
Textile machinery OEMs building dyeing, jigger or jet-dyeing machines integrate the bare SE-Vanguard pump head directly into their chemical dosing skid, sized to the machine's bath capacity and dosing schedule.
Skid Package Use
Mills retrofitting dosing accuracy onto an existing dye house take the pump as a complete skid — motor, dosing controller interface, pressure gauge and relief valve pre-mounted — so it drops onto an existing chemical store line without a rebuild.
